General Return Policy:
Defective or Damaged Printer Cartridges or Supplies - All United Laser printer, fax, and copier supplies are 100% warranted against defect of materials and workmanship for 1 year from date of purchase. Should you believe you have a possible defective cartridge or supply, please save any print samples (if applicable), change supply with back up, and contact your representative or our customer care team immediately at 1-888-487-8775. Once the item is determined to be a probable defective by a United Laser representative, we will issue a replacement at no charge to your account. Our experienced technicians are well equipped to diagnose damage or defects. If they are unable to duplicate or discover a problem, the customer will be notified promptly and the customer assumes the cost of the replacement in addition to any applicable shipping charges or original shipment if no replacement was ordered. Important Note: It is our goal to insure quality customer service with every interaction with United Laser. For this reason, United Laser replaces any defective item promptly without sending an invoice. You or your representative will be provided with a shipping label to return your item upon request for replacement. If we do not receive your defective item within 14 days of providing your replacement, you will be billed for the replacement cartridge or supply plus any applicable shipping charges.
Returns Due to United Laser Error - If you are returning product due to a United Laser salesperson order error, a United Laser order entry error, or a United Laser distribution error, we will arrange pick up of your items either by a United Laser representative or provide you with a pre-paid return label. You must notify United Laser within 30 days of any such errors. If you notify United Laser within appropriate time frame, we will issue you a full credit if your account was charged.
Non- Defective Items - United Laser will make every possible consideration for providing credit or replacement for non-defective products. If the product returned is not in resalable condition, we will not be able to issue a credit. Any items purchased over 1 year old or special order items will not be credited. If a return item is lost or damaged in shipping, the customer must file a claim with their preferred shipper and no credit will be issued by United Laser. Please note that United Laser is limited by factors such as marketability, expiration, shelf life, original manufacturer’s policies, and current stock. We cannot give credit on any product when either the product or the manufacturer’s boxes have been written on or otherwise marked in any way. United Laser incurs considerable cost in arranging pick up and analysis of non-defective products. In many cases, we are required to send product back to the manufacturer before we can determine whether or not the product has value. In those cases, we cannot guarantee the return of such items to you even if it is determined a non-credit was issued. Value and credit of non-defective returned items to United Laser is at the sole discretion of United Laser. Customer's will be assessed a 15% restocking fee if our evaluation team determines the product is still in re-sellable condition. All open invoices are still valid. We will issue a credit for the item, minus the 15% restocking fee. We will not issue checks for returned merchandise.
Printers, Fax Machines, Copiers and All other Hardware - If the equipment fails to operate after removing from the box, contact the manufacturer’s technical support toll-free number listed in the instruction manual and warranty registration card. Provide the model and serial numbers. The manufacturer will provide details on next steps. Non-defective printers and equipment may be returned for up to 20 days from purchase providing the products are in manufacturer sealed packaging. Returns on hardware after 20 days of purchase are subject to manufacturer or distribution terms and conditions or warranties.
